Hope someone can help. running freebsd 2.2.6-stable apache webserver. Just switched ISP's This is weird. I cannot connect through my FreeBSD box to www.freebsd.org. It contacts but waits for reply comes back some time later and says error why receivng data connection reset by peer. BUT get this. I run my Freebsd box as a gateway ppp -alias ispname My other win95 machine can get to www.freebsd.org and download the page using my FreeBSD box as a gateway with no problems ? 2nd thing I use to have http://localhost.xxxx.com my persnl web page will come up. Now I go http://localhost.newisp.com can't find it. However I do http://localhost.xxxx.com and it still finds the website. I searched every where I can think of to find out why it would find localhost.xxxx.com rc.conf I don't see anything /etc/hosts etc. Hope someone can shed some light on this matter.
