I'm thinking about getting an ISDN connection at home. I'm considering buying a Zyxel Omni TA 128 terminal adapter, but after having read the specificatitons I've got a bit confused: It says that it does PPP with CHAP/PAP etc. and connects to the serial port at up to 460kbit/s. It is also possible to talk to it via AT commands just like an ordinary modem. How do I connect this beast to my FreeBSD machine? (2.2 stable) I thought that I could just replace my old modem and change the connect parameters and then use userland-ppp as usual. But if the TA already speaks ppp to the other end who will iijppp talk to? Can somebody please clarify the above. Also is there support in FreeBSD for async serial cards with speed above 115k. /Martin -- _____________________________________________________________________ | o | +---------------------------+ +---------------------------+ | o | | | | Martin Nilsson M.Sc.
