This, matter of fact, is how my BISDN driver for BSD/OS worked (and what I
plan on doing for the ISDN4BSD port to BSD/OS). In theory, this would take
advantage of BSD/OS's exisiting support for e.g. channel bundling. Haven't
tried it though...

I didn't do it to show off how clever I am, but it really was the easiest way
of getting it to work :-)
