[-- Attachment #1 --] Somebody please, please help me with this if possible. I don't want to have to deal with Linux. I am running FreeBSD and Apache and was recently turned on to PHP3 and MySQL to create dynamic web pages from database info. When I showed my phone list internal web page to people here in the company, they immediately wanted to know how we could use the same technique to publish data from our other company databases. I have different types of data in Progress, Informix and Microsoft SQL. I have used Openlink's ODBC driver's before with success. Openlink has driver libraries for linux but not for FreeBSD. I have tried to use Openlink's ODBC drivers for Linux in FreeBSD but have finally gotten to the point where Apache tries to link Openlink's object libraries (.a files) into Apache and of course it fails. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might proceed? Is there a way to convert Linux object libraries to link into FreeBSD programs? I have the Linux emulator installed (correctly I think!) but that doesn't seem to help. Or does anyone have any other suggestions to connect PHP3 to non local databases (Progress, Informix and MS SQL). Thanks in advance for the help.
