Please solve this mystery for me. I'd really appreciate it.
I use FreeBSD 2.2.6 CD for my Unix installation.
I installed all the ports.
I then did:
cd /usr/ports/lang/perl5
make install
after this:
perl -v still give me "This is perl, verision 4.0"
I tried "make deinstall", then "make reinstall".
I still get "This is perl, verision 4.0" for "perl -v" command.
I had successfully installed perl 5 before this, but can't duplicate it.
This drive me nuts. Pls help.
