Hello. I have a question regarding firewalls built with FreeBSD. I have a Pentium 90 kicking spare, and want to put two 100 M ethernet interfaces into it and set it up as a firewall. I am just wondering what sort of through-put I can expect (at a maximum). The machine would be doing nothing else. The problem is that we have a 45 M link into the building and I don't want to slow that down too much. Does anyone have any experience with this?
