I'm currently using 2.2.7 and here is the information i have. wdc1: unit 1 (atapi): <Memorex CRW-1622/ D3.7>, removable, dma, iordy wcd1: 344/1034Kb/sec, 1024Kb cache, audio play, 128 volume levels, ejectable tray one thing that might be a problem is that in order to maintain long filenames i had to use the windows joliet filesystem when burning the cd-r discs. but, what i don't get is that it can't tell there is a disc in the drive at all if it's a cd-r disc. --- My e-mail address is Personal and Private.
