Thanks to all who answered my previous post on g++ After reading a bit of doc, I'm still not sure I understand what the difference between ports and packages is. May it be that packages are executables while ports are still to be built? Also which is the best forum for questions? I don't mean to annoy anybody by posting here... Best regards.
