Hi this is what i see when i type
# ifconfig tun0
tun0: flags=8010<POINTTOPOINT,MULTICAST> mtu 1500

could you explain to me how to get the RUNNING flag set so
it says:
# ifconfig tun0
tun0:flags=8050<POINTTOPOINT,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1500

i have a copy of this page from the hand book!  if it explained how to
do this
then i just didnt get it thankyou for any help you can give me.
