Huh?  I thought I had an all-ELF system from the start - 3.0-RELEASE
from the November 1998 WD CDROM.  The Communicrasher I got from Netscape
(/pub/communicator/4.5/english/unix/unsupported/freebsd) has always 
worked just fine.  Hmmm.... maybe I *don't* have all ELF after all....
