Hi Ira > Hello, I have an AVerMedia FM/TV dbx card at home and it's working > just great. > > I've noticed that I get SAP, on one of the speakers of my stereo, > and mono audio out of the other. Is there a way to get the dbx stereo > feed, or at least not get the SAP feed? Yes, but I need more information on the AverMedia card. 1) What chips are on the card for audio decoding. Is there a MSP34xx chip or a TDA chip or something else. (another BTSC decoder) 2) Can you send me the output of fxtv -debug My problem is that I live in the UK, where we have mono or NICAM stereo (a digital stereo signal). I've not got any DBX hardware here in the UK. So, I can give advice, but you'll probably need to do some coding yourself. The biggest problem with the Bt848 driver at this time is that no-one in the USA has written the code to correctly initialise and use BTSC chips, like the TDA9xxx range. The code in the current driver mearly mutes it.
