Finally got out to CompUSA to look at laptops, and my boss really likes
the Compaq Presario 1825's. They have some neat stuff, but the part the
I'm wondering about is the built in 10/100 nic. The Windows system
installed on it seemed to list it as an Intel chipset, but when I called
Compaq they could not confirm this. They did say that the built 56k
modem is a winmodem, so I'm just gonna right that part off, buy a PCMCIA
56k modem I suppose.

So my question is, does anyone know if the built in 10/100 nic works
under FreeBSD?

Thanks.
