Ok, here is my soundblaster problem: :-) The card is a SB PCI128, the system is a dual Pentium running 3.4-stable and the config file reads: <SNIP> controller pnp0 device pcm0 at isa? port ? tty irq 10 drq 1 flags 0x0 <SNIP> however, what I see with dmesg is: <SNIP> es1: <AudioPCI ES1370> rev 0x01 int a irq 18 on pci0.10.0 pcm1: using I/O space register mapping at 0xa800 <SNIP> I did the MAKEDEV and now I can (s)play to /dev/pcm1 but the device behaves more like /dev/null: No error message, no sound, no nothing!
