I am listening intently here. My workstation is a Dell with an i810e card and I can't get X started. I have installed the XFree86-4 and Release 4.2, but the server doesn't appear in the list. Is there a better way to set up X4 other than using the script or XF86Setup? The only reason when i810 > X driver is not compiled, is when the FreeBSD is older than 4.1-RELEASE, > or non-i386 architecture.
