You should also try the build's without "-j4" and see it they run faster. I time mine by doing something like "time make buildworld" and the "-j4" was slower on a variety of IDE equiped systems. The Handbook claims -j4 buildworlds run faster on uniprocessors but that hasn't been my experience.
