ok. so if i understand this correctly, the ideal setup for a collection of
FreeBSD boxes would be to have an nfs server that itself is built without
CPUTYPE, which has /usr/obj (for itself, without CPUTYPE) /usr/obj-486 
/usr/obj-586 /usr/obj-686 (etc) all built separately via 
"make MAKEOBJDIRPREFIX=/usr/obj-[456]86" with the appropriate CPUTYPE set.
then on the client boxes, simply mount the appropriate obj dir and do make
installworld.

is this the correct (and optimal) solution ?
