[-- Attachment #1 --] sorry, here the right post: [-- Attachment #2 --] i was trying to disklabel the diskdrive on my netra. i followd the instructions under: http://people.freebsd.org/~bmah/relnotes/CURRENT/installation-sparc64.html here is my "disklabel -e da0" # /dev/da0c: type: SCSI disk: SEAGATE label: flags: bytes/sector: 512 sectors/track: 63 tracks/cylinder: 255 sectors/cylinder: 16065 cylinders: 2202 sectors/unit: 35378533 rpm: 3600 interleave: 1 trackskew: 0 cylinderskew: 0 headswitch: 0 # milliseconds track-to-track seek: 0 # milliseconds drivedata: 0 8 partitions: # size offset fstype [fsize bsize bps/cpg] a: 400M 0 4.2BSD 1024 8192 16 b: 1G * swap c: * 0 unused e: 2G * 4.2BSD f: 2G * 4.2BSD g: * * 4.2BSD unfortunately i got the following errors after :wq! : partition b: does not start on a cylinder boundary! partition c: does not start on a cylinder boundary! partition e: does not start on a cylinder boundary! partition f: does not start on a cylinder boundary! partition g: does not start on a cylinder boundary! i even tried lowercase m and g, but i had the same errors. can you tell me what i am doing wrong?
