Right, i've got me a nice little fileserver running freebsd 4.4-release, works perfectly, only thing is i've filled it up and thus needed a new case (rackmount stuff) found a nice 4u case, and now i have a new machine to go in it, my question is with regards to moving the whole thing across from one machine to the other, can i simply re-install the generic kernel and moves the drives across or am i gonna have to mess around a bit ?
