libgnomeui, libobnoboui, etc. don't build on my PC

they are trying to find libgtk-x11-2.0.la in /usr/X11R6/lib/ but this
library is placed in /usr/local/lib (as well as many other gtk an gdk
libraries)

How to fix teh problem?
