Hi all, I have a Thinkpad A21m running FreeBSD 5.4 STABLE. I have a dvd/cd-rom and I am getting this message when I boot up. ata1-slave: FAILURE - ATAPI_IDENTIFY timed out ata1-slave: FAILURE - ATAPI_IDENTIFY timed out ata1-slave: FAILURE - ATAPI_IDENTIFY timed out acd0: DVDROM <HITACHI DVD-ROM GD-S200/0034> at ata1-master PIO4 I have look through Google and some of the mailing lists but I have not seen a definitive answer. If someone has one or can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it, Sincerely, Brendhan
