Once you've addressed Adrian Chadd's concerns, I'd suggest that you send
Jordan patches which
* Turn inetd_enable OFF by default in /etc/defaults/rc.conf.
* Possibly override this in /etc/rc.conf should something like ftpd
be selected and enabled at install time.
