I worked around a quirk in our OSS drivers so that the OSS output plugin
would work at all.  I talked with Ariff about this, and he said he would
be working on the driver at some point in the future to fix this issue.
 That said, I have not noticed any problems with the OSS output plug-in
since I added my workaround.  Yours is the first complaint I've heard.
