I am running FreeBSD 4.2 on an PIII/550. I have just finished setting up my DNS entries and sendmail is working, but when sending an email (locally - I only have the one box setup so far) it takes up to 30 seconds from the time I say 'Send it' in MUTT before the message takes off and MUTT says 'Mail Sent...'. On any other system I've been on (work, school) I get sub-second response from MUTT saying 'Mail Sent...'. If someone could offer any tuning suggestions or ideas on what may be affecting the performance, it would be a big help. Thanks, rvb -- 01010010 01010110 01000010 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
