hi all... i have used my laptop with wireless networks in a lot of different places where i know all the information i need - ssid, wep key, etc... recently i've been traveling and have problems getting on wireless networks in hotels, airports etc... usually i'd see association with ip assigned - like 10.1.x.x but i can't can't go anywhere and can't see the access point pinging... apparently people using windows dont have that problem in those locations.. i tried dstumbler from the bsd-airtools to see if i can detect any ap but still nothing shows up.... any help appreciated... thanks............ --
