Sorry for the confusion; the problem is in the rsync line: rsync -avpog /var/db/mysql //root@10.10.10.50:123/usr/backup/ Running this line causes rsync to say: Unexpected remote arg: root@10.10.10.50:123 rsync error: syntax or usage error (code 1) at main.c(1202) [sender=3.0.5] On the server that I use this push script, I want to connect as root to the backup server; thru port 123 (can be any port). With rsync running I can't get this to work. Can someone tell me what I do wrong here? Jos Chrispijn
