thank you for answering. I am working with newest 8.0-CURRENT.

Your latest changes in our post were at:

After that patches, I got the following output

# usbconfig
ugen1.2: <QuickCam Pro 9000 Logitech> at usbus1, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=HIGH 
(480Mbps) pwr=ON


The entry in /sys/dev/usb/usbdevs (line 1649) seems ok:

   product LOGITECH QUICKCAMPRO3	0x0990	QuickCam Pro 9000


Tell me, if you need more information or testing.
