Does this happen every time with every binary using getpwent/getpwnam ? Please rebuild port with debug ( make DEBUG_FLAGS="-O0 -g" ) and post the results of gdb 'bt full' command from segfaulted binary core. Does 'getent group|passwd XXX' segfaults too?
