I've got a client with largish FreeBSD/posfif mailhub (200K mgs/weekday) that is hitting the 1024 open files limit. Where is the best place in the startup to insert tweaking commands like this, rc.local? /sbin/sysctl -w kern.maxfiles=2048 /sbin/sysctl -w kern.maxfilesperproc=2048 Thanks, Len http://BIND8NT.MEIway.com: ISC BIND 8.2.2 p5 & 8.2.3 T6B for NT4 & W2K http://IMGate.MEIway.com: Build free, hi-perf, anti-spam mail gateways To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
