In the meanwhile, this should get you going: cd /usr/ports/devel/imake make -DNOCLEANDEPENDS clean make USE_GCC=any all deinstall install clean cd /usr/ports/graphics/xfig make clean make install clean This procedure worked for me on 9.1-RELEASE amd64, where it would fail when imake was built with clang (from ports), as Chris already confirmed.
