That might be the case. All -CURRENT builds happen on a 6-STABLE
machine. While the chroot/jail is -CURRENT, the kernel will obviously
still be -STABLE and ABI imcompatible changes have been made if
I'm not mistaken.

Have you tried to build the port on pluto1.freebsd.org?
