Regarding to unavailable original sources... I found this discussion

Maybe it's time to move to another version of ksh:
1) OpenBSD maintained version
	http://cvsweb.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb/src/bin/ksh/
2) GitHub clone of AT&T version ksh93
	https://github.com/att/ast/tree/master/src/cmd/ksh93
