I have a requirement to run a program on an HP3000 computer that runs a Hewlett-Packard (HP) proprietary screen manager (VPLUS) for its user interface. This character based screen manager in turn depends upon a terminal that understand HP Block-Term commands. The only block mode HP terminal that we have left is the system console for said computer. I would rather run this program from my desktop. HP provides/provided a Unix based terminal emulator for their block mode terminals called HPTERM. My question is a forlorn hope but just in case one exists: does anyone know whether or not this program, or a functional clone of it, exists for FreeBSD?
