I've cleaned all the fans with compressed air, since heat is always a suspect, and disconnected USB devices. Over the past two weeks the host now has an MTBF of about 2 days. Always the same symptom; it just freezes. I enabled SMART on the root disk; it seems to be healthy. I don't see any concerning messages in the logs.
