I found the easiest way was to start with a clean install, then install=20 cvsup, then cvsup ports, then install portupgrade and then build kde from=20 the ports tree. Took about 32 hours start to finish on a 2.2Ghz Celeron. I= =20 wasted about a week trying to do it without re-installing and was= unsuccessful. --Chuck At 11:34 PM 3/9/2004, Michael Hollmann wrote: >how can i easy upgrade the kde version? >my actually version is 3.1.x and would like to upgrade to 3.2 > >should i use portupgrade? is there a howto for it? > >thank=B4s for your help > >regards michael > >_______________________________________________ >freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing list >http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions >To unsubscribe, send any mail to= "freebsd-questions-unsubscribe@freebsd.org"
