Hello, I am trying to upgrade Intel drivers on DesktopBSD using the Package manage= r. It build OK, but then it fails to install with the following message: ---> Installing the new version via the port =3D=3D=3D> Installing for xf86-video-intel-2.1.0 =3D=3D=3D> xf86-video-intel-2.1.0 conflicts with installed package= (s): xf86-video-i810-1.6.5_2 They install files into the same place. Please remove them first with pkg_delete(1).= *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/x11-drivers/xf86-video-intel. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/x11-drivers/xf86-video-intel. ** Command failed [exit code 1]: /usr/bin/script -qa /tmp/portupgrade.81331= .0 env DIALOG=3D/usr/local/bin/kdialog-ports-wrapper make reinstall ** Fix the installation problem and try again. ** Listing the failed packages (*:skipped / !:failed) ! x11-drivers/xf86-video-intel&n= bsp; (install error) ---> Packages processed: 0 done, 64 ignored, 0 skipped and 1 failed If I try to remove 1.6.5_2, I see the following: sudo pkg_delete xf86-video-i810-1.6.5_2 pkg_delete: package 'xf86-video-i810-1.6.5_2' is required by these other pa= ckages and may not be deinstalled: xorg-7.2 xorg-drivers-7.2 Help!!
