What's your hardware, there? Are you attempting 12.2-RELEASE or 13.0-CURRENT? If 12.2-RELEASE, then re: <https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=251866#c23> you might like to try installation of 12.1 and refrain from upgrading to 12.2 until after the fix in main is confirmed and made available in stable/12
