Hi all, I am trying to install the FreeBSD 4.8 Release on a i386 m/c. I have burnt the iso images onto a CD. =0D My problem The m/c boots uncompressing the kernel and takes me thru the menu. While choosing the installation Media I get the message "No CD/DVD devices found" =0D while searching on the web I found one mail which mentioned problems with FreeBSD and ATA, ATAPI. The workaround provided was where in has to=0D set hw.ata.ata_dma=3D"1" set hw.ata.atapi_dma=3D"1" =0D but still I could not choose the CD as the installation media? =0D Need help in getting around this problem =0D -sundeep Confidentiality Notice=0D The information contained in this electronic message and any attachments to= this message are intended for the exclusive use of the addressee(s) and may contain confidential or= privileged information.
