FYI, I could not find vibes.c under /usr/src. Definitely this caused the problem. But how Makefile expects non-existing file? /Jaeho -----Original Message----- From: Lee, Jaeho [mailto:Jaeho.Lee@brooks.com] Sent: Tuesday, April 24, 2001 5:03 PM To: freebsd-stable@FreeBSD.ORG Subject: make buildkernel failed Hello, I cvsup'ed this morning with 4-STABLE. After that, I did make buildworld. It succeeds without any problem. But when I did 'make buildkernel', I met this problem. ===> sound/driver/vibes @ -> /usr/src/sys machine -> /usr/src/sys/i386/include perl @/kern/makeops.pl -h @/kern/device_if.m perl @/kern/makeops.pl -h @/kern/bus_if.m perl @/kern/makeops.pl -h @/isa/isa_if.m perl @/kern/makeops.pl -h @/pci/pci_if.m make: don't know how to make vibes.c. Again, I followed this order. 1) cvsup supfile-stable 2) cd /usr/src 3) make buildworld 4) make buildkernel Did I miss something?
