Hi All, I noticed on the SANE webpage that there is a backend driver for the UMAX Astra 610S scanner. So I ordered one. The scanner arrived today and with it comes a no-name scsi card. Has anyone had any luck getting this card to work with FreeBSD? On a related note: I'd be plenty happy to use my Adaptec 2940 SCSI adaptor with this scanner. There is (at least) one problem. The SCSI card has a 50 pin connector and the scanner uses DB25 pin connectors. I found an adaptor between the two I believe, I'm just wondering if anyone else has tried this... TIA A. -- Allan E.
