In /usr/X11R6/lib:

  -rw-r--r--   1 root  wheel    79948 Jul 16 19:59 libXpm.a
  lrwxr-xr-x   1 root  wheel       11 Jul 16 19:59 libXpm.so -> libXpm.so.4
  -rwxr-xr-x   1 root  wheel    64334 Jul 16 19:59 libXpm.so.4

Which I *think* was what truss said at the end here:

Gnucash runs for me, it just starts up rather slowly -- maybe looking
all over the place for libraries, I'm not sure. Then it dies when I
ask for help or try to print. Haven't tried other functions yet besides
entering some transactions.
