You can build most of the ports that depend on GECKO with the following in your `/etc/make.conf' file: WITH_GECKO= libxul I just finished rebuilding my packages in a chroot with this option, and firefox 2.x was not required for a full x11/gnome2 build: # pkg_info | fgrep firefo firefox-3.5.3,1 Web browser based on the browser portion of Mozilla #
