Thx in advance Pretty much anything that you consider to be a reliable supplier will = do. There are no specific FreeBSD requirements as far as I know. I recommend that you get a disk that is externally powered instead of = with power supplied over USB. Earlier versions of FreeBSD had problems with USB connected devices. In = particular if they were removed or powered down without dismounting, = this could lead to a kernel panic. This problem has been fixed, but I = still am extra careful with my USB backup disks: (1) Power for the back-up disks should be on a UPS (2) umount the file systems on the back-up disk when not in use.
