Folks, Apparently Solaris has a mechanism for NFS failover, and is described in the below URL reference. The key is that the NFS was mounted read only & and the files systems have identical files so that the NFS client can switch-over seamlessly. We have a similar need, but does FBSD support this via NFS at all? If not, is there an alternative (AFS or something) that achieves this end goal.
