Folks, Apparently Solaris has a mechanism for NFS failover, and is described=20 in the below URL reference. The key is that the NFS was mounted read=20 only & and the files systems have identical files so that the NFS=20 client can switch-over seamlessly. We have a similar need, but does=20 FBSD support this via NFS at all? If not, is there an alternative (AFS=20 or something) that achieves this end goal. Google searches said that=20 no, this is not available yet. Thanks, OSC http://searchnetworking.techtarget.com/tip/0,289483,sid7_gci903711,00.html
