Folks,

Apparently Solaris has a mechanism for NFS failover, and is described=20
in the below URL reference. The key is that the NFS was mounted read=20
only & and the files systems have identical files so that the NFS=20
client can switch-over seamlessly. We have a similar need, but does=20
FBSD support this via NFS at all? If not, is there an alternative (AFS=20
or something) that achieves this end goal. Google searches said that=20
no, this is not available yet.
