How about if a database system is created by which one story can be published to a single repository and all the sites interested can load it. Articles will have categories so each site can decide what categories to pull. This is a much better approach than 4 independent sites re-entering the same news. This will also let the site with the nicest interface win since the news should be the same. Even better it could be made a group where sites will have to have a minimun set of requirements to join. For example a site should not add articles to their site only if it falls under the categories covered by the unified site.
