hello again FreeBSD seems to have problems using netgroups in /etc/exports - if i put a netgroup of hostnames (amd) into exports - i get the following in messages: Aug 4 18:17:14 julia mountd[661]: Gethostbyname failed Aug 4 18:17:14 julia mountd[661]: Bad exports list line /usr -maproot for the line in exports /usr -maproot=root amd to see the netgroup is there: root@julia /etc # ypcat -k netgroup | grep amd amd (julia,,) (romeo,,) (hamlet,,) (titania,,) ... ... and i can't mount /usr from titania for instance (and this works if i explicitely add titani instead of amd in /etc/exports) thanks in advance - t p.s.: it's 2.0.5-RELEASE _______________________________________________________||_____________________ __|| Perfection is reached, not when there is no __|| thomas graichen longer anything to add, but when there __|| freie universitaet berlin is no longer anything to take away __|| fachbereich physik __|| - Antoine de Saint-Exupery - __|| ___________________________||____email: graichen@omega.physik.fu-berlin.de____
