Can someone provide hard information about nfs serving capability on identical hardware between linux and freebsd? I'm very disappointed at the nfs performance on linux...I've used suns for years and on a working ethernet it doesn't make much difference whether files are local or remote... On linux is makes a huge difference. -- marty leisner@sdsp.mc.xerox.com Member of the League for Programming Freedom
