This is kinda weird and I hop you could help me with it: System 1: Freebsd 3.3-Stable on an Dual PPro 200 with 128meg ram Kingston Ether card (de0) System #2: DEC Alpha Alphastation 200 4/233 80meg ram Built in NIC (de0) I have these two system networked with a crosover cable. The weird thing is If I reboot system #1, it reconnects itself to system #2 with no problem, but If I reboot system #2 (The Alpha), it does NOT reconnect and I cant ping system #1 untill I reboot system #1.... any idea what gives here? -- William Woods FreeBSD 3.3-Stable -----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK----- Version: 3.1 GIT d++ s+:+ a C+++ UB+++ P+ L++ E- W++ N+ o+ K- w O- M-- V PS-- PE++ Y+ PGP t+ 5+ X R- tv- b++ DI+ D G e++ h---- r+++ y++++ ------END GEEK CODE BLOCK------ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
