I have been wrestling with this for months - I install a new program, it copies its exec's into /bin /sbin /usr/local/bin, etc all just fine. But I can't run them without explicitly calling them /usr/local/bin/whatever even though those are in the path. Do I need to re-fresh the path, so it sees them again?? I am using the default shell on FreeBSD 4.2 Thanks! Patrick To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
