Hi, I would like to use a 29160 SCSI card to drive my HP DAT24 (external) with a RedHat 7.2. There is a problem when I try to use the /dev/st0 device: (1) there's a "attached devices: none" in the /proc/scsi/scsi file (2) when I try a "mt -f /dev/st0 stat" I've got the message "/dev/st0: No such device" (3) the "dmesg" on my system is SCSI subsystem driver Revision: 1.00 PCI: Found IRQ 9 for device 00:12.0 PCI: Sharing IRQ 9 with 00:09.0 (scsi0) <Adaptec AIC-7892 Ultra 160/m SCSI host adapter> found at PCI 0/18/0 (scsi0) Wide Channel, SCSI ID=7, 32/255 SCBs (scsi0) Downloading sequencer code... 396 instructions downloaded scsi0 : Adaptec AHA274x/284x/294x (EISA/VLB/PCI-Fast SCSI) 5.2.4/5.2.0 <Adaptec AIC-7892 Ultra 160/m SCSI host adapter> Vendor: HP Model: C1537A Rev: L105 Type: Sequential-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02 scsi : 0 hosts left. What's the problem ? Can someone help me ? Thanks. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe aic7xxx" in the body of the message
