Thanks for your response. I've installed 'jdk-1.6.0.3p4_13' from ports but get different problems = using it. Tomcat, which I'd like to run, doesn't start using native JDK. Meanwhile I found freebsd-java list archive, searched a little bit and = guess I'm running into http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=3D128948 I'll try if my Tomcat can be started using = '-Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=3Dtrue' and then use native JDK1.6. Any chance diablo-jdk nevertheless being fixed and updated? And what about PR 128948? It's more than one year old and still suffers = the same problem ...
